What is Live Rosin?
The live rosin process starts with taking fresh, frozen cannabis and agitating it in an ice water
bath and removing the trichome heads from the cannabis plant. These trichomes contain
terpenes, the compounds responsible for enhancing flavor and boosting health benefits in
cannabis products.
The water is then filtered through precise micron filter bags and put into a pharmaceutical grade
freezer dryer until all of the moisture is gone.
This converts into what we call ‘bubble hash’. Next, we press it with heat, causing the resin from
the trichome heads to transform into a honey-like texture called fresh press. Fresh press can be
consumed as is or taken another level to be cold cured.
Cold curing is a four-to-ten-day process, this transforms from its original state into a badder comparable to soft butter.
